LEARN HOW TO MAKE MANTI, TRADITIONAL TURKISH DUMPLINGS

One of the most beloved dishes in all of Turkey is Manti - traditional Turkish dumplings.  The paring of tender, little stuffed dumplings with warm caramelized tomato sauce and topped with a cool yoghurt sauce is simply irresistible.


Making manti is a dish that symbolizes love - the time and care of making them always comes shining through. Made of delicious ingredients (and love!), it is a dish most definitely meant to be shared with your loved ones. Turkish lore says the smaller the manti you make and serve, the more special the recipient is.  In this class you will learn to make the dough from scratch, roll it out and then stuff with the tasty filling you will have also prepared.  Traditionally it is made with ground beef, but the filling can be substituted with cheese and herbs for a vegetarian version (called Piruhi instead).
