Make note, parking can be difficult, but they're open 7 days a week.

While the owner makes note he is not Italian, his sister lives there and he fell in love with the simple yet high quality ingredients. Picado Mexican

With a retail store located in Dublin, Picado Mexican ships across Ireland for a low flat fee. They carry a large selection of traditional Mexican products including masa flour, arbol, guajillo, and ancho chillies and bayo beans. Michel's Fruit & Vegetables

Also located on Ormeau Road in Belfast is Michel's Fruit & Vegetables. Opened in 1987, Michel's has been located in its current location since 1999. They stock a wide variety of fresh exotic produce and they pride themselves on ensuring seasonal produce comes from within a 30 mile radius grown by local farmers. Featured in Rick Stein's Food Heroes, Michel's is a great stop to have high quality produce for your cooking class.

McAtamney's Butcher

This beautiful butchery dates back to 1933 where their first shop was in the are of Kilrea. Now with 12 shops across Northern Ireland, including the Belfast location in the Forestside Shopping Centre, you'll have access to some of the best meats you can find. Whether you're looking for steak mince or filet, you'll find an excellent selection of prime cuts. If you find yourself in Londonderry, stop by the Lisnagelvin Shopping Centre to visit their new shop and experience.

Indie Fude is an adorable little market dedicated to local produce, cheese and artisan products indigenous to Ireland. Passionate about the high quality products Ireland produces, the co-owners wanted to open a shop that celebrated all things local. Now with two stores, Indi Fude offers over 700 products ranging from organic pantry staples to soft bloomy cheeses. This is a wonderful stop for your cooking class that celebrates Ireland's bounty.
