Calling all Asian food lovers! Viet Hoa Market located on North Cleveland Street in Midtown is an Asian food mecca serving the Memphis community. When you walk in you'll be greeted with a huge produce section carrying basically anything you need. Find fresh produce including daikon, whole coconuts, jackfruit, Vietnamese herbs, long beans, durian, mangosteen, and kaffir lime leaves. Moving past an impressive meat and seafood section you'll then find aisles upon aisles of authentic pantry items imported from China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Korea, and more countries. Whether you're about to make tom yum soup or homemade shrimp dumplings, Viet Hoa will be a delight to shop in.

Cordova International Farmer's Market

Thirty minutes east of the Memphis city center is the Cordova International Farmer's Market. Located on North Germantown Pkwy, this large and clean market is servicing the Memphis foodies seeking out authentic Asian, Middle Eastern and even Hispanic ingredients . Set aside a couple hours to browse the interesting produce, sauces and seasonings. From huge displays of durian and dragon fruit to aisles of ramen and rice, whether you're looking for tortillas and dried chilies, gourmet pasta and tomatoes, or tamarind paste and pad Thai noodles, there's little something for everyone at this market.

Mediterranean Grocery, Inc.

While the looks leave a bit to be desired, when you stop into this specialty store located on Park Avenue near South Highland Street, you'll see Mediterranean Grocery carries a large stock of items you can't find elsewhere. They carry a 'little bit of this and a little bit of that' in Middle Eastern, Persian, Russian, African, Greek, European, & Mexican cuisine. If you're looking for specialty pickles, a selection of bulgur, olive oil, or ingredients for Turkish coffee, this is a good stop.

Winchester Farmer's Market

This every day supermarket is a great stop for any cooking class including Mexican, Peruvian, Brazilian or Spanish classes. While they carry a good selection of most anything you'll find on your list, they shine with their Hispanic grocery goods. Carrying a wide array of popular hispanic brands, you'll find beans, rice, dried chillies, and more at the Winchester Farmer's Market. They also have a large selection of fresh produce and seafood along with common items across most all cuisines at reasonable prices.

Emilio's Grocery

Another good stop for Latin American groceries is Emilo's Grocery. Emilo's, a smaller store located on Getwell Road near American Way carries favorite hispanic brand sincluding Mi Costenita, La Fe, La Costena, La Moderna, and La Preferida. Carrying anything you'll need for a specialty cooking class, Emilo's also has a nice selection of Mexican snacks. While you're there grab a tamale at their in-store restaurant.
