The Chef & The Dish offers private cooking classes for those in the San Diego, California area via Skype and Zoom, video conferencing platforms. The Chef & The Dish offers entertaining experiences with chefs around the world in your own in your own San Diego, CA kitchen. Hang up the keys, open a bottle of wine, and cook live with a chef based in Italy, Thailand, Spain and more international locations in a private video conference - just you and the chef. Participating our cooking classes from San Diego, CA is very easy. Simply select the cooking class you'd like to take, then select the date and time and book online. If you've ever eaten at a high end restaurant in San Diego, there's a good chance the produce came from the San Diego Farmers Outlet. Located at the corner of Friars and Riverdale, their retail market is open to the public and carries some of the best looking and freshest produce in the region.

Mitsuwa

Mitsuwa has locations in Southern California, Texas, New Jersey and more U.S. cities. While they carry a variety of Asian products, they specialize in Japanese ingredients. This is a great stop for fresh produce like Daikon along with pantry items including a broad collection of noodles and Asian seasonings.

World Foods Supermarket

World Foods Supermarket has been providing the San Diego community with access to Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese and Hispanic groceries for over 35 years. The broad range of grocery items includes banana leaves, rice flour, Vietnamese cilantro, beef bones and coconut milk. Needless to say, if you need a speciality item for an international cooking class, this is a good place to start.

The Little Market Italy

After travels across Europe, co-owner Daniela Caniglia was inspired by the high quality ingredients and charming shops. This Italian speciality market opened in 2009 and the owners now import a good selection of European ingredients along with high quality local items. Browse the shelves to find everything from imported tuna in olive oil to polenta and carnaroli rice.

Eurofood Depo

Eurofood Depot has been operating in San Diego since 2009. Founded by self-proclaimed French foodies, Eurofood specializes in French and European groceries. Their gourmet collection includes imported honey, sauces and seasonings, caviar, and fresh cheese. They also offer gift baskets if you know a loved one longing over a missed meal or taste from their travels.
