Let’s celebrate the wonderful Peruvian Empanada with our Wednesday Night Supper Club and Chef Lucia in Lima, Peru.
There is a reason why empanadas are eaten throughout the day across Peru. Golden pockets of flakey deliciousness, filled with a fragrant and flavourful filling… You’ll be hard pressed to just eat one! Good thing we’ll be making a whole lot of these baked little savoury pies. Perfect for a midday snack, dinner, or an impromptu appetizer for unexpected guests!
Chef Lucia is from and based in Peru. Her culinary journey started at the family restaurant and since she has worked in every role in the restaurant world, from consultant and menu developer, to caterer and event management for celebrities. Graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Lima, Lucia pursued her love of food, travel and cooking by opening her own cooking class and experience company working in both Lima and Cusco city.
