If we could assign only one word to describe Ravioli, it would be perfect. We would change nothing, we would add nothing, it's perfect, just as it is.


The word Ravioli is derived from the Italian word "riavvolgere" which means, to wrap. Each Ravioli wraps a little treat, a surprise, inside. This beloved stuffed pasta is largely believed to have been invented in Italy in the 14th century and was of course influenced by the various dumplings in different parts of the world. The Italian version had its own history and influence as it traveled throughout the region adapting to local traditions and ingredients. In Tuscany, Ravioli is often stuffed with cheese and potatoes, a spiced pumpkin version is popular in the Lombardia region. And of course, with time, shapes and fillings have evolved, as well. There's Tortellini in Emilia-Romagna, Piemonte has Agnolotti, there's Casoncelli in Liguria, Sardinian Culurgioni and many, many more.

In this epic private virtual pasta-making class, one of our chefs will video call into your kitchen, live from Italy. Together you'll master the most iconic versions of all Raviolo. You'll make pasta from scratch step-by-step with your chef, live from Italy. You'll be asked to squeeze your dough to ensure it's the perfect texture. You'll learn different pasta shapes; you'll laugh your way from beginner to near perfection as you learn how to close your tortellini. And you'll share stories as you make two fillings and two luxurious sauces. This cooking class is one everyone should take. And after your class, as you say goodbye to your personal chef and new friend, you'll enjoy one of the most perfect meals, ever.
