Virtually transport to Spain to learn how to make their most famous pinchos

Take a trip to the North of Spain in this beautiful cooking class where you'll learn the art of San Sebastian's most famous pinchos. Considered a cornerstone of local culture, pinchos are small bites found throughout the north of Spain in bars and taverns. Enjoyed best with a drink and alongside the company of friends, pinchos are paid for by piece. They're often found served on skewers and served atop of nice piece of artisan bread - perfect to soak up your ale or Tinto Verano. You'll graze on a number of these small, skewered bites displayed at the end of the bar throughout the time you're enjoying your drinks.

This virtual cooking class menu includes four fabulous pinchos perfect for a full dinner or grazing with friends. Together with your chef, you'll master Shrimp and Bacon skewers (with a delightful homemade dressing!), Stewed Mushrooms in a White Wine reduction, Tuna Stuffed Tomatoes - and of course, Gilda, the iconic pincho synonymous with San Sebastian. You'll find out why it's synonymous in your class! Share stories, have fun, get private coaching, laugh together and make an amazing meal. Both Basque and Mediterranean food offerings on the menu.
Ben soon began teaching at San Sebastian Food Company a cooking school for tourists in San Sebastian. He quickly became head chef/head teacher and discovered a new passion meeting new people from all over the world and teaching them about Spanish food.
He now owns his own cooking experience, CHEFBENSANSEBASTIAN, that he runs with his wife Maria.

The information sheets that came prior to the class were extremely helpful. They prepared me fully ahead of cooking. Chef Ben from Spain was amazing! He taught us a bit about San Sebastián and shared many cooking tips and tricks throughout. He was engaging and a really great teacher! Highly recommend

Chef Ben was amazing. Better than I even imagined. We did the tapas class and it was so much fun. The food was fantastic and it was so nice talking with Chef Ben and learning from him about Spanish cooking and San Sebastián. He made the whole experience fun and delicious. I will make it to Spain one day to thank him in person. Can’t recommend this experience more! Thank you Chef Ben!

We highly recommend Chef Ben and his Basque cooking class!!! We made several Basque pintxos from scratch. Chef Ben was great company and a great teacher - fun, patient, and super informative about the origin of the dishes we were making and how important they are to Basque culture. The food was so delicious. We can't wait to visit him in San Sebastian some day!!
