Video Call Support
Welcome to your upcoming culinary experience. This page provides information on technical support, if you need it.
If you're joining us for a private 1:1 class with just you, the chef and guests in your own home, we use Zoom or occasionally another platform we feel will fit best.
In this article you will find:
How do I see my chef in full screen?
Why do we use Zoom?
Zoom tends to be easy for most users across all technology platforms. Simply click the link we provide you, enter the Meeting ID and Password, and voila (!) you're on your way to transporting your kitchen!
How do I set up Zoom?
If you would like to download the Zoom desktop app, you can do so here: https://www.zoom.us
Make sure to allow permissions to use your computer camera (or an external camera if using one) along with the microphone you will use in your class. Using built-in technology works seamlessly, but connecting external sources always provides a richer experience.
We're happy to help if you need anything at all!
How do I connect my audio?
When it's time to mee with your Kitchen Assistant or Chef, simply join your meeting. Make sure to click on the microphone and ensure your audio is connected. Zoom should automatically detect your built-in microphone. If not, simply go to your Zoom Preferences to find the microphone, speaker and video settings. Toggle between the available microphone and speakers and you should be set. Need more support?
How do I connect my video?
Similar to above, make sure to click the video icon. If that doesn't work, you can click the arrow next to the video icon and select the source of your video. Likely you should select your built in camera, however if you have an external camera, that could be part of troubleshooting.
How do I see my chef in full screen?
On the top right of your screen, you'll see a variety of different ways to enjoy your experience. We recommend selecting Full Screen.
