Hang up the keys, grab a bottle of wine, and cook with a chef in Italy, Japan, Spain - without leaving home.

Ask all the question you want. At the end of your 2-1/2 cooking class, you'll have an awesome meal to share with you family and friends.  Master the world’s most iconic dishes from Handmade Pasta, Paella, Gyoza to Jambalaya, with a Private Chef who lives where the recipe originated – live via Skype.

Select the class and book the date. Each class comes with a personal Kitchen Assistant who provides your shopping list and answers any questions along the way.

BOSTON'S BEST MARKETS & SPECIALITY GROCERS

Shopping is part of the fun of our cooking classes! The Chef & The Dish recommends these markets and specialty grocery shops for the most authentic experience in the Boston area.

TONY'S MARKET

A favourite in the Rosindale neighbourhood since 1963. The owner (Tony, of course), is an Italian immigrant stocking the best cheeses, meats and Gourmet goods from his home country. Perfect for our Italian Cooking Classes

EBISUYA MARKET

There isn't much you won't be able to find at Ebisuya for our Japanese Cooking Classes. From Kewpie to Nori to Matcha, this Medford Square market will have everything you need, and the staff to help.

CURIO SPICE CO.

After traveling around the world, owner Claire was inspired. This gorgeous shop in Cambridge specializes in rare and hard to find spices. They work hard to develop great relationships with their farmers and suppliers.

SALUMERIA ITALIANA

This incredible North End Italian market was a passion project for two Italian immigrants looking for a market like back in their homeland. Salumeria Italiana carries everything from Guanciale to D.O.P. Tomatoes, to 25-year aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.

RUSSO'S

Boston Magazine rated Russo's the Best Gourmet Shop in Boston, and for a reason. Gorgeous fruits and vegetables, with speciality goods and - the cheese (!), it's a great stop for most any of our cooking classes.

CMART

This huge Asian grocery store has two locations, (one in Chinatown) and is known to have great prices and fantastic selection. The staff generally doesn't speak English (the website isn't in English either), so be prepared to hunt for what you're looking for - you'll eventually find it!

BALTIC EUROPEAN

DELI

Specializing in Polish and Eastern European foods, Baltic is a great stop for our Hungarian Cooking Classes. Find everything from sausages to paprika to Apricot fruit wine.

WEGMANS

A short drive outside the city centre to Chestnut Hill, you have what's rated one of the best grocery stores in the U.S. This chain is a mecca for food lovers looking for standard groceries to speciality foods across a variety of cuisines. Perfect for all The Chef & The Dish cooking classes.
