Spanish Tortilla is similar to an omelette or frittata, but much, much better! The Tortilla tradition is one of the richest in Spain and found at Tapa bars everywhere from north to south. How long are classes?


Our Team classes are roughly 90 minutes, although some classes run over depending on the group!




What video conferencing platform do you use?


We use Zoom for our team cooking classes.




Do your classes include a professional host?


Each Multi-Location Team Class with The Chef & The Dish over 5 locations comes with a professional host to make sure your group has a blast!




What if we want to personalize a class?


We want your event to be special and memorable for your group. Please let us know of any details about your group that we can incorporate into your event, such as a special introduction from your team, or showing a presentation!




Do your chefs speak English?


Absolutely! Our chefs are fluent in English, and many are fluent in other languages too!




What about timezones?


Our chefs do classes at all hours perfectly suited for every continent!





PRICING & GROUP SIZES

How many devices are allowed in each class?


The ideal group size is 15 different kitchens joining, we like to cap our classes at 20 to maintain the engaging and memorable experience we expect from The Chef & The Dish experiences.




What if I have a larger group?


You found the right place! If you have a group larger than 20 different households, we recommend booking several classes either concurrently or at different times. This allows for the deep engagement our classes are known for, that produce delicious results! It also allows your team to have a selection of classes to choose from so they get to learn and eat something they're really interested in. Whether building a complex multi-continent schedule, or cross-U.S. events, we can run classes concurrently or on different days and in all timezones.​ The Chef & The Dish specializes in global scheduling for international corporations, so if you have a large team, contact us. We offer classes daily on every continent, and have done classes on every continent of the world (outside of Antartica!).




What is the price?


Pricing for classes of up to 10 devices starts at $1,000 USD. Each additional device is $85 USD. Groceries can be added for $35 USD coordination fee per household, plus the cost of groceries which averages at $80 USD for a family of four. If you have a group larger than 20, contact us. To ensure your class has the high quality we expect from our experiences, we cap classes to ensure you have an engaging and memorable experience that allows for team building. You can book multiple classes, of which can run concurrently or different times. Please know, we offer discounts off 15 or more classes purchased together.





DIETARY NEEDS

My team has special dietary preferences. What do I do?


Many of our classes are easily gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian friendly! If you have a dietary need or request for your group, just ask us! Our chefs are amazing and will do everything possible to make sure everyone in your group cooks up something delicious.




What dishes do your chefs teach?


So many it's so hard to choose! Our chefs teach the original and authentic version of the world's most iconic dishes. We get you right to the source of the original recipes that became so famous, they went from village to world sensation.





GROCERIES

Do you offer grocery coordination?


The Chef & The Dish can manage grocery delivery in North America (excluding Quebec) for an added cost. Our Kitchen Assistants take care of everything to ensure your team has all of the Chef approved fresh ingredients needed to create a delicious dish. While rare, if someone in your group is outside our area of delivery coordination, they can use the provided Grocery List to source ingredients locally.​ The cost of groceries is $35 USD per houseold, plus the cost of groceries, which averages at $80 per home for a serving of 4.




What if we want to purchase our own groceries?


Not a problem! Our Grocery List contains everything your team needs to make the dish with our chef's approved recommendations!




Are ingredients easy to find?


Every class with The Chef & The Dish is Certified Tested. Our classes are built using ingredients easily sourced everywhere, so whether you're in San Francisco or the South of France, you'll be able to find ingredients or perfectly fine substitutes.




What about wine pairings?


The Chef & The Dish provides wine pairings with every class! Our chefs pair the perfect wine from their region so your team has a beautiful dining experience.
